Heading down to Canggu

As usual, on Thursday we spend our free time to find and explore new spots, either for pre wedding or conceptual photographs. Yesterday we went to Canggu, about 25 kilometres from our office in Sanur, heading west to Cemagi village for its beautiful rice fields and beach.

The weather was very sunny at first but suddenly turns to be rainy upon we arrived. We had a small amount of shots at this time, but it’s okay for this short exploration. We’ll hunt and smack some cold beers again on next Thursday. Feel free to join if you are interested :D

Abandoned Shrine

Abandoned Shrine

Our eyes was captivated by abandoned shrine above. There are many small shrines on each rice field block dedicated to serve the offerings for Dewi Sri — the Rice Goddess. We think that the farmer who own this field no more interested to work, because in Bali we are strongly encouraged to care about any sacred things especially on workplace.

Wild Butterfly

Wild Butterfly

This one is a kind of wild butterfly nested in a grass. Nothing special, but we love the flawless patterns of butterfly :D

Work between Smokes

Work between Smokes

On the road to the beach, we’ve seen a female farmer burn some haystacks to prepare her paddy plantation which caused heavy smokes around her.

God's Biscuits

Here are sort of our shots in Beach. There are many beautiful rocks on the beach. Seems could be a perfect place to create romantic prewedding photographs combined with white gown and bucket of white roses :D
