Here are our weekly updated street photographs. On the past week, we were exploring Cemagi beach at Canggu. And this weekend we were heading north to Ubud Art Market, which is one of tourist destination in the heart of Ubud, Gianyar. There are many unique handicrafts, paintings, and apparels offered at a negotiable price.
If you are looking for affordable piece of arts, probably you’ll have to visit this market. The paintings are awesome. Although the sellers’ smile seem unpleasant, but their price are very negotiable. Wisely said, just try to act not too interested with their items to get the lowest price.

The life pace in Ubud is fairly slower than living in Denpasar. Here you can enjoy each second of your life. As a small town, Ubud’s atmosphere seems very friendly and cheerful. It might the reason why most of expatriates chose Ubud as their 2nd home in Bali than Kuta or Nusa Dua.

Asian tourists are the most visitors of this market and they often looking for sarongs, bed covers, decorative paintings, and wooden house ware.

Tourist & Market
There also a fresh Balinese fruits booth offering papaya, banana, salak, and mangosteen fruits harvested straightly from their garden. So it wouldn’t look as clean as we seen on modern supermarkets.

Balinese Fruits
As other places in Bali, many beggars appear to waiting the tourists on the entrance gate and inside of the market. We have no idea what the governments did so far. They are look so healthy and we believe they should be able to get quality works by their physics. Maybe they just too lazy to work? Ah… we strongly suggest you to stay away and don’t give anything to them.
