Our latest Web Design & Development project came from Husqvarna Motor Indonesia, which is the main dealer of world’s renowned dirt-bike in Indonesia. The management asking us for an attractive yet sporting the adrenaline of dirt-bike design without sacrificing the speed of regular Indonesians visitors that ranging between 15 – 56 KBps.
Husqvarna Motorcycles is a subsidiary of BMW Group that manufacturing motocross, enduro, and supermoto motorcycles. The story begin in 1903 in Huskvarna; a little city in the eastern part of Jönköping, Sweden.
In 1920, Husqvarna established its own engine factory. The first engine is a 550cc four-stroke 50º side valve V-twin engine. Although Husqvarna once made motorcycles for street use and raced at road circuits such as Isle of Man TT prior to World War II, Husqvarna are well known for producing world championship winning motocross and enduro bikes.
But the problem is, in Indonesia the name of Husqvarna is still a strange name. Actually in fact this motorcycle brand had many worldwide achievements; winning a motocross championship 16 times from 1959 to 1999, Enduro for 24 times since 1990 to 2003, and Supermoto 4 times since 2005 to 2008. Even until now the latest winning championship is in the Enduro World championship with Antoine Meo and TE 250 bike.
To help solve the problem, we designed the front page to sporting the four characteristics of currently offered motorbikes: Enduro, Motocross, Supermotard, and Dual-Purpose which is manufactured specially to conforming the street-legal laws.
The frontpage design idea was based by our approach to educating the potential customers about the differentiation of each bike’s character through its basic form and shape. Because sometimes it is little bit difficult for the new customer to recognize the difference between motocross and enduro class.
However, these bikes aren’t for casual riders since they have massive acceleration power and torque that designed for competition only. Therefore their current fans are very limited to the off-roaders community. Then our idea is maintain the community to welcoming the new members through Facebook Pages to held the discussions as well as future touring events.
Also, we managed to designing their office stationeries and sales kits; including letterhead, envelope, business card, brochure, sales receipt, and much more.
