The company idea is home made vegetarian food that maintains high standards of preparation and extensive nutritional knowledge. Liat Solomon (the founder and director) is a trained nutritionist, macrobiotic educator/counselor and vegetarian chef. Over the past ten years our team has developed a menu containing the freshest organic ingredients that are prepared and cooked using traditional methods. We have prepared a menu that is both nourishing and without equal in its purity of preparation and delivery.
We only use spring water brought from an aquifer high in the foothills of Bali’s mountain region. We douse it with a sprinkling of rock salt to wash our ingredients. We cook with it using stainless steel cookware ensuring our dishes remain fresh and uncontaminated. We never use a microwave; cooking with gas ensures our dishes are both nourishing and flavourful. We never freeze cooked food or using flavour enhancers, colourings or preservatives. We only use vegetables, herbs and spices from organic producers that do not employ GM organisms or insecticides. We have been cold pressing our juices since we started.
Fundamentally we understand nutrition. Our menus have been created by a nutritionist and healer with over 20 years of experience. Sure our methods are time consuming, and costly, but they are at the core of our beliefs. This is why we are the first and only truly organic and strictly vegetarian restaurants in Bali.
